Last November, 2011, my wife and I decided to go on a trip to Zamboanga for a vacation and visit my father as well. This post is for the FOOD TRIP section, so I'll skip the places we went to and reserve it for the next blog. And since we are talking about FOOD, I'll be sharing food stops and "a must" food destinations during our Zamboanga Escapade!!
First Stop,
TSOKOLATE!!
Located at Midtown Plaza, TSOKOLATE is one of my Dad's favorite places to hang-out and relax. So, eventually, this is the first place we visited.
Love Coffee? Cakes? Live Music? This is the place for you!! Cakes that rival Red Ribbon and Goldilocks. Delicious tasting coffee, like Starbucks and Seattle's Best. The best thing of all, it's a lot cheaper!! Spend around 100 pesos and you can enjoy a coffee for two and a slice of cake!

CHEESE CAKE!! YUM-YUM!! |
The place is also like a museum, crawling with antiques, old radios, tables made from old sewing machines, record players, telephones and a toy train which goes around the counter. Oh, and they have free Wi-Fi as well!!
|
ISN'T IT COZY?? |
And as for the music, you feel like of being in HARD ROCK cafe!! Live bands and musicians play around the afternoon. They feature local artists of Zamboanga! And they're really good. Playing classic rock, to ballads to modern songs. Customer can make requests as well!
